Mr Karunakaran, age 83 is a boat driver from Kumarakom, Kerala. He has been driving the boat from the time he was 20 years old. For more than 40 years he was employed as a boat driver for a company and he took care of his family and his children’s education from this income. His kids are now well settled and busy with their own work and families. After the retirement he was missing his job and seeing this, his son bought a boat for him. He still continues his job as a boat driver at this age but this time he drives his own boat.
