Alto 800 – TohChaleinKya‬Bengaluru

I have been living in Bengaluru for the past 8 years now , this city is so charming and has been a major inspiration for me in so many ways ! For me art is always associated with story telling !So, when Maruthi Suzuki approached me with this fun venture to showcase few interesting places of Bengaluru through an artistic point of view … I was super excited !!!  And here starts my little journey through the streets of the majestic Bengaluru city in the brand new  Maruthi Suzuki Alto 800 ‪#‎TohChaleinKya‬Bengaluru

The idea was to drive through the city ,visit some interesting places and doodle the stories from these spots. Here are my tools for the trade and the vehicle 🙂

This cute red Alto was sent to take me around the city to explore few of its interesting and prominent spots. The choice of places are completely mine . I have picked few places that I can  relate with art and tried to sketch few doodles about the things there that caught my eye!

Nandi Hills
Nandi hills is an awesome getaway spot complete with breathtaking views of landscapes , peace & tranquility. What keeps this place lively and bustling are the naughty bunch of monkeys dangling from the trees, trying to snatch away food from your hands.

Lal Bagh

Lal Bagh Botanical gardens is one of the most iconic places in Bengaluru .Home to many species of birds and a collection of tropical plants , it’s one of the most important tourist attractions here. The huge flock of pigeons that fly in here every single day  are one of its other  major attraction and you can find them everywhere in the garden.

Bannerghatta butterfly park

The Bannerghatta national park is an apt destination for those who love wildlife. You can opt for safaris and explore the park  or head to their butterfly park to see the most amazing varieties of butterflies . 20 plus species of butterflies are found here around this surreal settings of the park which even include a museum and audio visual show on butterflies.

VV Puram Food street

All you foodies out there – you have to check out the VV Puram food street. Tickle your taste buds with the wide varieties of food you get here starting from South Indian delicacies like types of dosas and idlies to North Indian specialities like parathas, pav bhajji  to varieties of desserts.

State Central Library, Cubbon Park

Cubbon Park is one of my favorite spots for photography and art . It is famous for its rich  abundant flora and fauna coupled with numerous impressive and aesthetically located buildings . The State Central Library is one of them. This bright red building stands out amid the lush green of the Cubbon holding over 2.5 lakhs of books.
